Vanuit een professioneel perspectief beschouw ik mezelf als een ondernemer. Vanuit het perspectief van goed doen denk ik dat er een belangrijke rol is weggelegd in de stimulering van de ontwikkeling van een meer door waardigheid gedreven samenleving, ook online!
Ik ben mede-oprichter en CEO van iYYU.com, een start up op het gebied van communicatie en privacy. iYYU heeft de uitdaging serieus genomen om volledige controle over uw eigen gegevens te bieden en tools te ontwikkelen om op uw eigen voorwaarden te communiceren met degenen die voor u belangrijk zijn wanneer online. Als oprichter van Stichting Wish Will Way, mijn persoonlijke stichting, stimuleer ik initiatieven en onderzoek. Dit heeft geleid tot de opkomst van een aantal impactvolle initiatieven zoals 'You are Your profile' (Stimulering bewustzijn over persoonsgegevens online) en 'Digital Rights House' (Stimulering van steden en organisaties om de adoptie van digitale mensenrechten in de stad te versnellen).
In het leven in het algemeen vind ik het belangrijk om je wens te willen kennen en de wil om te handelen te hebben. Ik geloof dat er dan altijd een weg is. Het is tijd om een meer door waardigheid gedreven en moderne verbonden samenleving te creëren door het bewustzijn voor privacy/digitale mensenrechten onderwerpen te vergroten.

From a professional perspective, I consider myself an entrepreneur. From a doing good perspective I believe there is an important role to be played in stimulating the development of a more dignity driven society, also online!
I am co-founder and CEO of iYYU.com, a privacy first communication platform start up that has taken the challenge seriously to provide full control of your own data and the development of tooling to interact with those important to you on your own terms when online. As founder of the Wish Will Way Foundation, my personal foundation, I stimulate initiatives and research. This has led to the rise of a number of impactful initiatives like ‘You are Your profile’ (Stimulating awareness on person data online), and ‘Digital Rights House’ (Stimulating cities and organisations in a city context to speed up the adoption of digital human rights in the city).
In life in general, I believe it is important to want to know your wish and to have the will to act. I believe then there is always a way. It is time to create a more dignity driven and modern connected society by raising awareness for privacy/digital human rights topics.
